Statement of Faith

What We Believe:

We believe that in order to please God we must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6).

We believe in the One true God described in the Hebrew scriptures as the Elohim (God) of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exd. 3:6), El Shaddai our God Almighty(Gen 35:11), and YHVH our Lord and creator of all things visible and invisible(Col 1:16).

We believe in the infallible Word of God in its original language. We believe that the Mashiach of Y’israel (Messiah of Israel) is divinely interwoven throughout both the old and new testaments and therefore bear one consistent theme and message.

We believe in Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) who is the Son of God (Luke 1:35), our Passover Lamb sacrifice (John 1:29,36), the Word made flesh (John 1:1) who came to tabernacle (dwell) among us (John 1:4) as Emanuel God with us (Matt. 1:23). We believe He came to restore the lost sheep of Israel (Matt. 10:6, 15:24) and establish the renewed covenant as spoken of by the prophet Jeremiah (Jer. 31:31). We believe Yeshua came to perfect and fill up the Torah commandments full of meaning and not diminish or make the Law of God null and void (Matt. 5:17-19). We believe Yeshua died on the tree and rose again on the third day according to the sign of the prophet Jonah (Matt. 12:40). We believe that Yeshua came the first time fulfilling the Spring Feasts of the LORD (Lev. 23) as the suffering servant, Messiah Ben Yoseph and will come again to fulfill the Fall Feasts of the LORD (Lev. 23) as the conquering King, Messiah Ben David.

We believe that the Messianic Jewish Apostles did not add to or take away from the Torah commandments/instructions/Law but merely midrashed or expounded upon principles that already existed in the TaNaKh (Old Testament). We believe they honored the Torah and upheld it’s significance in the believers life and spoke honorably about Moses and many Jewish traditions.

We believe in ONE Torah for ALL peoples and that Israel was indeed chosen as God’s first born (Exo. 4:22) to be priests and prophets to the nations (Deu. 4:6, 1Pet. 2:9). We believe just as the scriptures say that there will be no difference between believing gentiles and believing Jews (Lev. 24:22, Num. 9:14) as to the instructions for how to live a good and long life or to the reward one receives by the God.

We believe in the power of prayer in that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (Jam. 5:16). We believe in the doctrine of laying on of hands (Heb. 6:2) for healing (Mark 16:18, Jam. 5:14), the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:18, 19:6), stirring up the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 2:6, 1 Tim. 4:14) and ordination (Acts 6:3-7).

We believe keeping the weekly Sabbath. We believe that the biblical day begins with the rising of the sun and ends the following morning just before dawn. In Genesis chapter 1 we see that during the creation account YHVH did His work and then “evening and morning were the first day”. This pattern continues for six days.  The seventh is different in that there is no work done and there is no distinction given between the different parts of the day, thus setting the entire time appart. By examining the passion week we also see that the Gospel accounts indicate that the Sabbath ends at day break (Mt 28:1).

We believe in keeping the appointed times and seasons of the YHVH by following the calendar He ordained. We also believe that the Feasts of the YHVH (high sabbaths in Lev. 23) are notched positions on God’s time clock and are prophetic in nature. We believe that keeping these appointments are not grievous or cumbersome (Matt.11:30) but they allow us to stay in rhythm with the YHVH.

We are currently observing the Zadok calendar for more information, please visit the  Calendar page.
